A MazeGame
A downloadable A MazeGame
In this game you can explore and generate your own mazes.
Most of this project is still in the works, this is a very early release to test out the idea and gather feedback for it.
If you want to report bugs or give feedback you can do this inside of the game or using these links:

A MazeGame story:
Well then here we are,
I made A MazeGame 2 years ago for a school project. I had high hopes and dreams that slowly, over time, got washed under all other things life had planned for me.
When school said that we had to upload a project and develop it, I knew it had to be this one. The amount of time I spent 2 years ago, with less then 6 months of Unity experience under the belt, figuring out how to make an algorithm that generates mazes is just way too much.
I had 16 hours to update code inside the project and expand it where possible, so I did. This does mean that it is still buggy and far from perfect.
Let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy A MazeGame.

I liked the Tutorial with R.O.B.; this makes a tutorial more interesting and less boring. What bothers me was that when more text displayed, the align changed (probably the text box is too small). So it was hard for me to read the text. For polish, add talk sound effects (good for immersion
).
The speed of the blue cube is too high, I sometimes clipped through the wall. Because of the high speed, it was for me hard to control the player. After the tutorial, level 1 didn't load at all and I had no idea what was happening. It was also hard for me to see the level, because of the red lines.
For the fire trap, think about an indicator to recognize that there is a trap, but keep it small so the player can miss it.
The concept is quite fun!
The tutorial introduction was funny, but a little slow. Also, losing movement everytime the guy says something can become quite annoying. Maybe add dialogue to the game (as well as sound in general). Playing the tutorial also breaks the game, so maybe wanna look into that haha
The textures of the floor are a bit busy on the eyes, perhaps extend the texture to the walls, as to not create too much contrast in a little area. The puzzles are also quite easy, maybe make them a little more difficult.
The dash mechanic is really nice, but maybe add it to Spacebar instead, as LShift doesn't work quite as nice with WASD. The dash is also slightly buggy, as you clip through walls sometimes.
